Welcome Back BBQ and Feeding of the Fire!
Please plan to attend MHS’s Feeding of the Fire and BBQ on Friday, Sept. 3rd.
Feeding of the Fire Ceremony will take place at 10:30 for students in PreK – Gr. 4 and at 2:30 for students in Gr. 5-8.
Parents are welcome to attend the ceremony.
Lunch will be held at 12:00 pm.

MHS Attends YK1 District PD
On Thursday and Friday of last week, the MHS staff members along with the rest of YK1 attended a two-day session on Cultural Appreciation and Student-Centred learning with Dene Kede. Here are some pictures of the MHS staff members learning together!

Preschool Program at MHS
A preschool program will run at MHS this year! Children may enter the building at 8:00 am and parents are asked to pick up children by 3:20 pm. Program starts at 8:30 am each day. A Preschool Handbook will be provided by September 1st.

Great start to a new year!
It has been a wonderful start to our new year!
Thank you to all of the students and staff for making the new staff members, including the principal, feel welcomed at MHS!
