Administrators - Principal
This is my seventeenth year at MHS where I have worked in many different roles, but this year I am excited to be continuing as the principal.
I was born in England but spent most of my childhood growing up in Newfoundland. I received my Education degree from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick and worked as a music teacher for five years in Nova Scotia before coming to Yellowknife.
I try to live by the following quote when teaching; " Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best".
In my free time, I am a proud hockey mom, lover of detective novels and television shows, and I enjoy keeping up with my two mischievous little boys, who teach me something new everyday.
I love MHS and feel blessed to work with the children and their families in such a caring atmosphere and beautiful building.
